The spring loaded lever pushes in to lock the dead bolt, and released by pushing the button on the face. Made of a cast iron and brass mix in a beautiful ornate pattern. A scalloped center arch is decorated inside with primitive floral shapes, the sides of the lock with tree patterns, and rows of crosses on the backplate.
Plate alone measures 5 3/8" long. With the sliding lever, the length measures 6.25". When the sliding lever is pushed in to "lock" position, the length of the piece is 6.25" long including the dead bolt. Sold as open stock (individually). Measures 2.13" wide x .69" deep. Mounts with 4 screws. Great working condition.
